[Cancelled] Myanmar – “Shrinking Space” Developments Analysis and Experience Sharing on Civil Society Strategies

A warm welcome to this event specifically focusing on analyzing the situation in Myanmar regarding shrinking space for civil society. How are the recent developments affecting civil society – and what are we to anticipate in the future? How can civil society themselves – including Northern organisations play a constructive role? Danida/The Foreign Ministry of Denmark has invited David Moore from ICNL to Denmark and this is a side-event.

Format: Brief introduction/presentations and discussion on developments regarding “shrinking space”. Experience sharing on counter strategies for civil society organisations. 

Target group: Primarily Focal Points/Employees in Danish Civil Society Organisations with responsibilities regarding Myanmar and “Shrinking Space” – as well as and others interested.
