Masterclass: Common Cause
Torsdag 27 November 2014, 13:00 - 20:00

What will you learn from the workshop?

This will be an intense, interactive workshop, and you’ll come out of it knowing:

  • What values are and why they are important to international development
  • How to analyze the full impact of an organisation’s campaigns, communications and fundraising
  • Case studies, examples and practical tools to help apply an understanding of values
  • Ideas on how to move forward in your own organisation

Important:

Please bring 3-5 examples of your own organisation's communication and engagement materials with you. These could be campaign leaflets, fundraising adverts, magazine inserts, petitions, webpages. If you'd like to bring longer documents, like magazines or publications these should have something shorter in them that can be the focus of exercises. The more significant the material the better. We cannot guarantee that you work on your own products, but a large variety of products is needed for analysis.

Program:

  • 13:00: Welcome
  • Values Introduction
  • Implications – What we call for
  • Implications – How we engage
  • Implications - How we organize
  • Implications – Action Planning
  • 19:00: Communal dinner – sharing and networking
